Absence Call-In
If a child is absent and we have not received a call telling us about the absence, we are required by law to notify parents or guardians of the absence by the end of the school day.
If we do not receive a call about the absence by 9:00am, we will call the home phone number to ask about the absence. We will leave a message if we do not speak directly to an adult.

May 18 - HAT DAY!
Our students have earned 33,422 Pride Applause slips in our "Pride in the Community" program, and our reward is a Sports and Hat Day on Friday, May 18, so everyone be sure to wear your favorite clothes or hat with your favorite sports logo OR any non-sports hat to school that day!

On May 18, Hollydale students and staff took pledges and jogged around our track for an hour to raise money for our Arts program at Hollydale.

June 5 - 5thGrade Magic Penny Assembly and Skate Party
Our 5th graders will celebrate the end of their Elementary School years with an awards assembly and a Skate Party at Skate World!
Family members are invited to attend the Magic Penny Awards Assembly at 10:10am.
June 6 - Fly Up Day!
All Kingergarten through 4th grade students will "fly up" to their next year's classroom for 15 minutes from 12:55-1:20pm so students may begin to get to know their next year's teachers and classrooms.
June 11 - Field Day!
AM KG-2nd Grade - 9:00-11:00am and PM KG & 3rd-5th Grade - 12:50-2:50pm

KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION FOR 2012-2013
A child must be 5 years of age by September 1, 2012, to enter kindergarten, and 6 years of age by September 1, 2012, to enter first grade.
Parents should go to their attendance area school to register and bring their child's original state issued birth certificate (and a copy for the school to keep), immunization records, proof of residence, names and telephone numbers of emergency contacts, and doctor's name and phone number, if you have it.
